Today is Thursday 20th of August 2015, birthday of Amy Adams from man of steel and the famous singer Demi Lovato. I’ve just looked on what’s on in Felixstowe and I’m excited to tell you that there will be a model railway exhibition in someone’s garden! Details below….

Special open day of the Garden Model Railway at 28 Dains Place.
OO gauge. Includes shed layout with small garden loop.
Refreshments available.
Admission free (donations for the Trimley Station Community Trust).

I always look forward to local events like this as it brings the community together, much like the hotrod car rally on the seafront (29th August) and of course the carnival, which was a huge success even though the Sunday was canceled. Felixstowe is home to the United Kingdoms biggest container port as you know, however what makes Felixstowe great is not Port of Felixstowe, it’s the people; when times get tough, we as a community stick together and create a community spirit like no other in the country- or even the world…. And the universe.
I’m proud to call myself British but I feel more prouder to be in this great community!
