Are you aged between 7 and 11 years, and would like to know how to ‘bird watch’ and learn more about our feathered friends?

Find out about binoculars and how to use them. Begin to identify birds by their song and calls. Which birds are we likely to find at different times of the year? Which birds migrate to Landguard and where are they from? Learn about the birds that nest on the Nature Reserve. Why should you take field notes?

Binoculars will be provided but please bring your own if you have them. Wear stout footwear and warm clothing and bring waterproofs.

Meet in front of Landguard Fort.

Six spaces available. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Children £3.00, adults free.

You must pre-book in advance for this event.
