Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red.
August 5th – November 11th 2014.
An art installation by Paul Cummins and Tom Piper, 888,246 ceramic poppies set in The Tower’s Moat,
each poppy represents a fallen British soldier in The Great War.
After the installation was removed each poppy was sold separately and the millions of pounds raised was distributed equally between 6 service charities.
