Special free family event at the Trimley Marshes Nature Reserve.
Come and experience wonderful wetland wildlife on site at close quarters with the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Why not stay for lunch, learn about bird behaviour in our visitor centre, ask questions, relax and enjoy your local wildlife with us.
Bird ringing demonstrations in the morning with a chance to see birds really close up and learn about migration. Fun family quizzes and ID sheets. Guided tours on site between hides looking at breeding waders and their chicks. Try out and buy binoculars and telescopes.
Tea, coffee, soup and delicious cakes available for purchase.
Minibus shuttle service to and from the reserve from Searson’s Farm car park on the hour, every hour from 1000-1600 (donations please).
