Join in the fun ‘Pirate Themed’ Dog Show at Whitworth Veterinary Practice.

Seven fun dog classes, including best fancy dress, musical sit, most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, best rescue, perfect puppy and best veteran.

Dog agility course, scavenger hunt, tea/cake stall, burger van, charity stalls and grand raffle. Live music by the Brotherhood.

Admission free. Donations on the gate – with all proceeds to attending charities.

PIRATE THEMED DOG SHOW!

It’s that time of year again for our annual charity dog show, now in it’s 10th year! Being held on Sunday 2nd July, from 11am to 4pm, this year’s theme is ‘pirates’, with fancy dress for either yourselves or doggy crew mates encouraged!

Activities on the day will include:

– DOG SHOW with seven classes (please see schedule):
• Best Fancy Dress
• Musical Sit
• Perfect Puppy (up to 1 year)
• Best Veteran (over 9 years)
• Most Handsome Dog
• Prettiest Bitch
• Best Rescue
– Dog Agility Course
– Scavenger Hunt

Food and drink available will include a tea and cake stall and a burger van.

Our huge raffle with prizes will be drawn at the end of the day. Last year’s prizes included tickets for an Ipswich Town football match, days out including zoo entry and farm days, cinema and theatre tickets, spa sessions, bowling, amongst many others, all kindly donated by local businesses.

Many charities will be attending including A1 Parrots (who will be providing a demonstration and allowing you a chance to meet their parrots), East Anglian Staffordshire Bull Terrier Club (providing the dog agility course and a demonstration in the ring), Guide Dogs, RSPCA, Cats Protection League and Animals Asia, as well as many others. All proceeds will be split between attending charities!

Every year we have a good turn out from the community with lots of fun had by all, so we are hoping this year will be our biggest yet!
